Numerator (short description i.e. not inclusions/exclusions)

Numerator: The total number of residents who had at least one record for an antibiotic drug dispensed with a Long-Term Care flag (Ontario Drug Database) in the 90 days prior to and including the index date which is defined as a resident’s last service date in the quarter.

Denominator (short description i.e. not inclusions/exclusions)

Denominator: The total number of residents in the OHIP/ODB cohort for the reporting period who are 19 years and older.
