The percentage is calculated as: numerator divided by denominator times 100.
Numerator (short description i.e. not inclusions/exclusions)

Number of palliative / end of life patients who died in their preferred place of death. Patient must be discharged with a disposition of death in the period selected.


Denominator (short description i.e. not inclusions/exclusions)

Number of palliative/ end of life patients whose discharge disposition is death in the reporting period.
