  • Add the number of respondents who responded '4' to the question: Would you recommend this nursing home to others?
  • Responses are coded from 1 - 4, where 1 = Definitely no 2 = Probably no 3 = Probably yes 4 = Definitely yes

Homes using the interRAI Quality of Life Survey should measure this domain by calculating the percentage of residents who responded positively to the statement.

  • Add the number of respondents who responded '3' and '4' to the statement: I would recommend this site or organization to others. Responses are coded from 0 - 8 (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8), where 0 = Never 1 = Rarely 2 = Sometimes 3 = Most of the time 4 = Always 6 = Don't know 7 = Refused 8 = No response or cannot be coded from response
