Time frame: (2006-2008, 2009-2011, 2012-2014, 2015-2017)

C&Y Numerator:  Total number of annual deaths by suicide ages 10-24

Exclusions:

-          Ages <10, >24

-          No valid IKN / Cannot be linked in RPDB

-          Not Ontario resident (pull the PRCDDABLK and exclude if first two characters NE ‘35’)

-          Sex not equal to Male or Female

Adult  Numerator :  Total number of annual deaths by suicide ages 16-105

Time frame: (2006-2017)

Exclusions:

-          Ages <16, >105

-          No valid IKN / Cannot be linked in RPDB

-          Not Ontario resident (pull the PRCDDABLK and exclude if first two characters NE ‘35’)

-          Sex not equal to Male or Female

Notes:

-          Apply exclusion criteria to the numerator independently (i.e. do not use the denominator file to create the numerator; numerator is not a direct subset)

General Ontario population as of July 1 for each calendar year
