Comments Summary
This is an additional QIP indicator for 2017/18. Current performance reporting period: annually. This indicator is consistent with Cancer Care Ontario’s cervical cancer screening indicator. Primary care organizations that have access to Cancer Care Ontario’s Screening Activity Reports (SAR) are encouraged to use this indicator. Health Quality Ontario recommends that primary care organizations select ONE of the cervical cancer screening indicators for their QIP (e.g., either the “up to date” or “completed a Pap in the last 42 months” (CCO) indicator.).
